Writing.Com General Discussion

My current WiP was inspired by my niece who is European and Asia, Chinese to be exact. The European side of her is German and British [English and Scottish]. She also has a drop of Sioux in her. Anyway, I was expecting this project to go at a normal pace because if the motivation but, instead, I'm barely moving through the sentences, let alone the paragraphs or scenes.

What I find so peculiar is my motivation is still intact. I'd probably be able to move a little faster if my husband would find something to take up his time. I can ask him to leave me alone and he will but that sometimes brings on confusion in my writing because I somehow get flustered by asking him to do this.
