Good afternoon ladies and gents! Apologies for my belated reviews, I recently started a new job and it's been tricky adjusting to a new schedule. Excuses aside, let's take a look at the overwhelming response to prompt number two Each week I like to experiment and see which pictures will spark your creativity. This round was delightfully dark and full of screaming, not many poets opted for tales of quiet sorrow. Let's take a look at the winners, shall we? For the tearful prompt, there were only three contesting entries! While all proved to be great examples of melancholy, one was just a bit more picturesque. The ribbon for Prompt no. 1 goes to Melly Lane for "Statue" Poignant yet uplifting, well done! Now let's focus on the shrieking prompt that got everyone all fired up Third Place goes to Dalimer Corwyn for the deep-rooted anger of "Invalid Item" . There were some excellent lines in this one Second Place goes to Dave for the visceral and disturbing "Groundhog Day at the Bates Motel " Vivid details made me feel the sharpness of that blade! And the First Place ribbon is awarded to The Huntress ~ Finding Love for her haunting vision of helplessness "Invalid Item" Stylish and eerie, great job on the win! To all other contestants: Thank you for the continued support and your imaginative entries. Reviews will be going out by the end of today! (Otherwise I'll never catch up during the week ) I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, see you next Sunday! |
