Jasper, thank you for responding with so much information. It's greatly appreciated, believe me.

I did sign up for the posts at the site. Maybe I won't stay there long but I'll give it a whirl. The posts that are readily available at the site are what convinced me to sign up, that and the fact that I got so much out of Shawn's video at the Writing Summit.

Shawn suggests using the grid for the preliminary work of a novel. I pondered on that for a while but decided I'd use it just for the self-editing stage. I'm more of a pantser than a plotter.
