Unfortunately, in Australia there are very few magazines. There's a couple for science fiction, one for horror, a number for poetry, but none for crime, mystery, fantasy, romance, historical fiction, et al. But I've had a number of shorts published, only 3 in Australia. International because of online it does not matter. I'd suggest try duotrope.com or try authors publish's book on 182 short fiction publishers, available at their site authorspublish.com but there's only 15 romance publishers in it, so it looks like a market that is tough. Anthologies might be the way to go.
