You're looking for this option, which I mentioned in my reply:
Items that have their review/rating preference set to Email Comments are also not reviewable, but there's no mass utility for making that change. It has to be done by editing the item.

It's in the Advanced section of the item edit page. Setting this option does change the last modified date. Each item has to be changed individually.

The items remain visible, but can't be reviewed or rated. People can still send you an email, but the contents are not stored with the item like a review is. People are more likely to just read, but you might still get some email comments with this option. Whether those would bother you like unreplied reviews is your call.

This "for display" option is the recommended option for any item you consider finished, don't plan to rewrite any further, and no longer wish to receive reviews for improvement on. If you have any items at that stage, those can be changed once, and then left that way whether you're here or not.

Also, since you're currently a Registered Author = a black case, you don't need to leave 5 items rateable while you're gone. If you get promoted to Preferred Author down the road, then you would need to.
