Email Search Function (in Body of Emails) Not Working?

For me, at least Search function in my emails does not return results for searching the body of emails. I can ask it to search my Inbox or Sent Mail for a word that occurs in the body of an email I sent this morning, and it will tell me that 0 messages contain that word. "To" "From" and "Subject" seem to work.
