Moving content from Statics to a Book item is done by hand by the writer. It's not an automatic process. Deleting and purging is its own separate process and is also done directly by the writer.

Your Recycle Bin is empty. Since you apparently deleted and purged those items, they are permanently gone in that previous incarnation.

To go back to using Static items, you would need to create a new folder (or use an existing one), and create new Static items, using copy/paste from the edit page of each Book entry to fill the Static item's Body text box in the Create Static page. Basically the same process you used to create the Book, but in reverse.

Click the gear icon at the top right of each entry page to open the Entry Tools menu, where the Edit Entry link is, to get to the edit entry page.
