As I recall, spam-checking at the receiving end can delay delivery of email. Even the legit companies are sending extra ad emails out today, so AOL's spam checker may have been backed up more than usual.
If your email or attached document file contains wording that the spam-checker uses to flag spam, it can wind up in the spam folder.
