Welcome! And More Info
I love music (and writing)! I'm a singer/songwriter/musician and one of the things I love doing is turning your poems into songs. I have worked with both amateur and professional poets to turn their words into music they can enjoy anywhere, anytime. I help those struggling with grief and loss to express themselves more fully and find healing and hope through the power of music. And because I love working on these projects on the side, I'm opening up the opportunity for YOU to have your poem turned into a song.
Your poem can be about anything at all. There are no restrictions except I'd rather not use swear words because then it is restricted on some platforms. I did a gig on Fiverr and it had a pretty big swear word, and so of course I can't really share it, even though it was a lovely ambient piece of work. I should really do a clean version, eh? I will work on that.
But right now I'm getting this contest up and running. Please share it around to get poets on board, because this is a brilliant opportunity to have something very unique with your own words. There's no catch, I just love doing these projects.
I am listing the contest in other places, but there I'm requiring a tiny entry fee (the fee being liking/subscribing/sharing). I'm not requiring anyone to do that here, however it would be very nice if you would share so there can be a nice variety of works to choose from.

Aside from poetry to music, my mission is to use my music and personal story to reach out to those who have experienced trauma, abuse, mental health issues, homelessness, and pretty much life in general, to offer healing, hope, inspiration and elevation. While I'm only beginning my musical journey, my aim is to work in the community first, then branch out to England and beyond. Music is universal and something everyone can relate to. My ultimate goal is to one day open a Women's Refuse that offers a complete live-in program for healing and transformation, including practical skills such as job skills, training and DIY, to deep inner healing through counselling, mindset techniques, and spiritual nourishment. There will be all kinds of things in place, and of course there will be music. I dream of this place and I know one day it will happen.

I'm currently in the process of writing my personal story and setting up a website, shop, and all my social media. If you would like to follow me on my journey, here are my media links (please keep in mind they are still being worked on and the website doesn't exist yet):
