No, when you buy a C-note, you don't buy any rights to the image in the C-note, so you cannot use that for illustrating a book.

You can google sites which offer images for sale, and sites that allow use of images for free.

One such site that WDC recommends is linked in Creative Image Ideas from Writing.Com 101 .
