Going by what you said here, it appears that you still do not understand what I said.

This is not telling things differently:

All writing websites have myriad links with publishers indeed that may or not be interested in any item.

All? No. That's false.

This writing website is not a writer's job board site where the job board's business is to manage work assignments between a company and a freelance writer.

This writing website is not a submissions management site where the site's business is to submit work to publishers on behalf of the writer.

This writing website is an independent business that is not a business affiliate [one type of link] with any publisher, nor a branch of a publishing business.

Generally, this site doesn't have any clickable links [another type of link] to a publisher unless the publisher pays for the ad space. Such an advertisement does not indicate any other kind of arrangement between the writing website and the publisher.

When a publisher advertises here, the publisher expects any interested writers to approach them on their own website about publishing what the writer submits to that website, not what the writer may have posted here where the ad occurs. Legitimate publishers do not go around writing websites looking for material to publish. They do not go to the author. The author must go to them.

We as authors and freelance writers; are not aware of the nature of the eventual transaction between the writing website and the publisher

Writers should be aware. That information is available in public.

It is the responsibility of authors and freelance writers to research the nature of a site before using it. User agreements and publishing submission guidelines spell out this information in public up front. It's your job to find it and read it.

As I said before, the user agreement of THIS writing site indicates it DOES NOT have ANY "transactions" of any kind, "eventual" or not, about user items with publishers. NONE. ZERO.

That means -- Posting your work on this site does NOT constitute a submission to be considered for publishing by any publisher, ever. Writing.Com does not do anything of the sort FOR you. It is not a service that is offered.

Writers have to go do any submitting themselves on the PUBLISHER'S website they choose. Posting work HERE has NOTHING TO DO with submitting work THERE.
