About a month+ ago, a chunk of the internet got hacked. For several weeks after that, internet service was extra glitchy, though it has seemed to be better where I am the last couple of weeks.
You can check with your internet provider to see if they're currently having issues. It could also be an issue local to your immediate neighborhood -- such as a squirrel or tree branch interfering with the wires - they have linemen to check that.
You can check your computer/browser/modem/router/etc. and their plugs. A diagnostics option often comes up when there's a failure. If you connect to the admin panel for your modem/router, there should be one in there somewhere.
The standard first response suggestions for when something is weird:
1. Clear browser cache. Shut down all browser windows. Reboot the browser.
2. Make sure your browser is up to date.
3. Try another browser.
4. Reboot your computer.
