There are additional options to stop someone from posting to your notes, from their notes being included in your personal newsfeed, and from their notes being included in your view of either newsfeed.

For ports and items, there's only the block/ignore utility in the site options.

Going the other way, limiting access for categories of people, there are options that might exclude them and others like them from the audience of an item -- such as using the paid membership restriction in the Advanced section to exclude ALL free members and guests, or using the main access restrictions to exclude ALL gray case members and guests. Members with Upgraded+ memberships also have the option to create a Group item and make other items, such as interactives, available only to members of the Group -- in effect, invitation only. Upgraded+ also have a couple of other access restriction methods available to them -- private/passkey and trinket lock -- but those are more work and/or complicated and potentially less secure.
