@ruwth ... It sounds like you clicked on the header and "closed" the section. Clicking on the header will re-open it and then reload the page to have the content loaded in.

I will update the contest section -- no, it can not be updated automatically, but I'm happy to remember to do it upon nudging. *Wink*
