Page Width vs Screen Resolution

I'm trying to match my Word-created Short Story, Novel, etc. with my WDC Item, but I'm having trouble doing that. I use Courier 12 and six-inch lines for my short stories and Times 12 with a six-point-five-line length for my novels I've always that that WDC size 5 was the closest thing to twelve. Am I wrong about that?

I have tried every combination of Page Width and Screen Resolution that I can think of, and sometimes it works for part of my document. Other times it doesn't. What are the correct Page Width and Screen Resolution for my document so that I don't need to go into Paragraphs Mark them at the end of each line.

Have done Paragraph Mark endings, but they are time-consuming to do, and a lot of Reviewers don't like them. So, I thought of trying it like this, but this isn't working either.
