I glanced at the story...it's quite good! It's got fantasy elements, but it's more SciFi. I'd have no problem if you wanted to enter it in both contests--but if you do, I probably shouldn't review until our deadline has passed. If you want to enter it both, you should probably first check with Jeff over at the quotation inspiration contest to be sure it's okay wth him.

In any case, I think we'll have another round of this contest for the WDC anniversary in September. Maybe we'll see you then.

Oh, while I think of it...have you ever read John Varley's story "Press Enter"? It's also about a computer gone amok, but quite different from yours.
