Haha, I'm going to just go ahead and correct The StoryMistress on this one...

I'd actually prefer that people NOT send thank you's to the automated things sent from the Writing.Com Support account.

Since all that stuff are already automated things to THANK YOU for your participation, responding with a thanks is actually thanking for a previous "thank you"... which can create an endless thankfulness loop. *Wink* And also, they're all automatically sent from support so you don't need to thank an automatic system that did exactly what it was supposed to do. *Heart*

AND... while I appreciate the good intentions behind thanking support, it actually adds to the hoards of email in the support inbox and thanking support actually adds to the amount of work I have to do with that account.

So... it is definitely not necessary to respond... and in fact I appreciate it more if folks don't respond to the automated things that support does. *Heart*
