The Writer's Cramp WDC's longest running daily contest is 22 years old!    Special Birthday Week (January 23-30) Events will include:  Starting with the prompt posted at NOON on Tuesday, January 23, each daily winner (starting with the prize on Wednesday, January 24 and ending with the prize on January 30) will receive 22,000 GPs! Prompts will be posted by our amazing judges as usual. They may also require a Genre. If they do, you MUST write your entry using the genre given by the judge (write in that genre AND choose it as one of your static item genres), AND follow the prompt exactly in order to considered a qualified entry. The WDC B'day Fairy will be flying through the Cramp throughout the week, randomly assigning Merit Badges to entries that strike her fancy. Just for visiting our forum this week, you can add the special WDC Birthday Trinket to your collection!   Each *qualified entry during Birthday Week will earn you one "raffle ticket" for a special prize drawing for 100,000 GPs at the end of our birthday celebration. The more you enter, the more chances to win!! There is a special prompt (you'll have to find it  ) that will award a 220,000 GP prize to the best entry. Once you find the special prompt, it will explain all of the details. Do NOT ask where the special prompt is in the Cramp forum - your post will be removed. Keep your eyes open for a birthday bauble that will lead you to the prompt.
