I prefer Sci Fi the most, then Fantasy, then everything else.
I do not subscribe to any pure form. I find the content more appealing when genres mix with other genres or sub genres. So Sci Fi plus Mystery is a lot more exciting that strictly Sci Fi. Another example - Sci Fi plus Comedy.
Perhaps mixing up the genres offer a wider range of moods
If there was no Sci Fi elements in the mix, I might enjoy some of it, but other parts might be a bit difficult for me to get through.
I am likely to enjoy other genres (that do not have Sci Fi) more in a group setting because I'd basically be seeing the beauty through the eyes of a fan of that form.
