You can enlarge your own text in message forums like this, and static item creation (and a few other places) in the tool bar above the text box. (You can also change the font.) This line is size 4, Verdana Font.
Here is a sentence in the largest Size 5, Verdana font, as an example.
Just click on the 3 S's to resize what you are typing, and on the F to change the font.
