Progress on Weekly Goals April 15-19, 2024
Here's the update for my weekly goals:

1. Select and set up with a Developmental Editor on Reedsy for Singularity. Success! I selected one and have set everything up to begin edits in late May.
2. Edit at least 25 chapters of Singularity to prepare for sending to editor. Surpassed, but this was a close one. I managed to revise through Chapter 27 on my lunch break today. I did get caught up mid-week with some chapters that needed more work than I anticipated, and with some unexpected schedule changes that affected my writing time. But I didn't give up, and passed the goal.
3. Complete and revise the draft of the long story I started writing yesterday. In progress. I did finish the rough draft, do a revision, and post it here for feedback. I decided to let it sit until after I complete the revisions to Singularity so I can get some feedback here to help with finalizing it.
4. Post my May article for The Roost. Success! I posted it Wednesday evening.
5. Do at least 5 workouts this week. Surpassed! My yoga session this morning was workout #6 for the week. That means I can take a break tomorrow and work on more edits to Singularity!

Have a great weekend, and check out my short story-in-progress if reviewing is one of your weekly goals. I encourage and welcome feedback on it.
