You can make frames around computer monitors and have them show a slide-show of selected images. Alternatively, you can make a magic-mirror which idles as a mirror but displays a random image when touched (and selects a new image if touched again). You can use a 'Raspberry Pi Zero' as the computer (it's a system-on-a-card typ computer about the size of your pinkie), it has very low power needs and can even be run off a battery.
