Technical writer? I guess so. I was once asked to speak at an international develeopers conference (developer=programmer), so I picked as my subject "using fuzzy logic". Fuzzy logic is like asking for something when you don't know what you're looking for. As I was talking, I could see the collective audience's eyes glaze over, so quickly had to find another way to explain things. Since then I've written articles on programming, Raspberry Pi builds, and also on roasting coffee (both a skill and an art form). DAC = Digital to Analog Converter, converting the digital data stream of (e.g.) an mp3 file to the electrical pulses required by a pair of speakers. My 'DAC' didn't convert to analog, it coverted the data stream to light signals to send down the fibre-optic cable, so in this case it is a Digital Audio Converter. When I decided to build my clock, I needed a Raspberry Pi and a screen, so after a Google I found Pi-Hut, which is a one-stop shop for everything to do with Raspberry Pi's. A browse of the shop will fill your mind with ideas of what to do with your Pi. |
