Prodded to visit this site after a few months, I logged in and commented on somebody's poem. Instead of posting the comment, the screen started displaying a little ring of blinking dots and saying it was "validating." It's been "validating" for two days now.

I'm guessing the problem involves some sort of obnoxious coding--spyware, camera-ware, pop-up boxes. Those are now blocked on this computer because the computer runs slowly enough without them.

All web sites need to clean out the garbage coding that prevents two-way communication, so I hope Writing.com administrators can get rid of whatever's causing this "validating" mess. When that's done, please e-mail me so I can consider coming back.
