About disappeared stories, there are several possibilities:

1. A little while ago, stories.com put a limit on the stories any given free account could contain. Since some of the authors were not willing or not able to upgrade their account, excess stories have been removed, I guess (since I was not sure whether I would be able to get my upgrade in time, I removed some of the lesser quality stuff in my account as well, so as to ensure the survival of the more important items).

2. There seem to be quite a few people who don't read the age rating and/or the rules of interactives they add to. Thus, stories rated PG-13 end up containing masturbation, sex scenes, and the like, stories that banned foot stuff see them starting licking, and giantess- only stories end up with male giant story lines and gay sex. With this happening again and again, my guess is that the moderators finally get fed up with deleting/editing inappropriate stuff, and delete the entire interactive in frustration. Sidenote: I am currently planning a new vore interactive, but it will probably take a few months before it will be ready to be presented to the public, as I want to write a proper start first; unlike "Shrinking Down to Size", it will be heavily moderated as its theme is too problematic (^_^;;

3. The author wishes to rework his/her story (this is what keeps my static "Squire to the Rescue" down as I need to redo it from the start - one day (T_T) ).
