Some people have no manners! What rudeness to come barging into the palace with a horse and creating a clatter! Calming herself, Marie turned back towards the woman with moon-like hair and wondered at the lengthy pause for her response.

Could be she isn't all there? Maybe there is something amiss with her - could explain that lovely hair ...

She noticed a short little man with too much clothing on - wandering around from guest to guest. Curious as to what he was about - did he know these people or was continually shunned?

At least that Jester didn't say anything to me, Marie thought. I don't know what I would have done but I hate being made fun of.

Returning her gaze to the beautiful hair, Marie waited patiently for a response.
