1st Mystery Ball CLOSED Jan/03

Maid Lucille Anne lifted up the layers of her skirt to a slightly unlady-like height as she dashed up the steps leading to where the ball was being held. She was incredibly late to the ball that she had been looking forward to for ages. Forgetting to knock in her rush, she pulled at the door and swung herself inside, letting it crash shut behind her. She winced at the racket and pushed her brunette curls out of her face, giving a sheepish grin.

She felt her smile grow a little wider as she looked up to find that all those in the room were looking at her. Already she was in the center of attention. But as she started to move forward she began to take in the whole picture.

Solomn looking men, distraught women...and another lady on the floor. A chill went through her body and she looked up toward the hostess.

"I have a feeling that I've missed something."
