Lyrically Speaking

It's in the public review forum, but I'm posting it here for your information...


I'm gonna be up front and let you know right now I just about never rate lyrics. Thus, try not to get too upset about the rating It's a pretty standard format for a song, and believe me. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact, more people will be able to understand them The message rings very clearly, and I personally can hear the pleading of the singer's voice. It may be simply written, but this song is written very effectively.

P.S., I confess I find it very difficult to rate lyrics. Thus, the high ratings are earned by how the message resonates with me. Without that emotional resonance, the highest anyone can receive is a four, and I base that on things such as form and word choice. Hope that helps.
