Prompts:

1. The skull glowed a bright phosphorescent green. It sat on a pedestal in the middle pf the chamber. Telnor knelt in the entrance and studied it. It’s to easy, he thought. There has to be a catch.

2. Long ago it is said, there stood here a mighty impenetrable fortress of a magnificent kingdom. The tale of what reduced that fortress and kingdom to the crumbled ruins in front of us is not one lightly told.

3. The siren wailed again as the ambulance rounded the corner on two wheels headed for the emergency room. Valerie watched its approach from her vantage point in the coffee shop across the street. It was the fourth ambulance in an hour. Taking a puff from her cigarette she gazed up at the full moon and smiled. A full moon, and on Halloween no less, she thought. This will be a very interesting night indeed.
