New Year! New Prompts!!
1. “Tell us a story Grandpa, and make it a scary one! Please Grandpa, tell us a scary story!”

2. It was Saturday. Saturday was the day Mary kept for herself. Only this Saturday was going to be different. This Saturday she would share with someone special.

3. Professor McDougal cleared his throat and stared a the eager faces in his classroom. After thirty years of teaching he still looked forward to the first day of school. In the back of the classroom a new student watched the professor’s every move and listened to his every word. He glanced at his watch. Ten-forty –five AM, he thought. Professor McDougal has less then six hours left to live. Unless…

4. The first snowflake settled gently to the windowsill. Billy, his head resting in his hands watched as it melted into a small droplet of water. More snowflakes followed and he knew, staring out the window, that it wouldn’t be long before the ground was covered. All the other kids would be out playing in it and he would be stuck her inside. It wan’t fair. It wasn’t his fault he broke his leg. Maybe, he could sneak out when mom wasn’t looking, he thought.
