The land of Tyria is a metling pot of races, landscapes, and cultures. Here is a list of the races and where they reside:

Humans: Resourceful, capable. Range from evil to good. They are spread across Tyria, but most typically stay up north, in the city of Castleford.

Elves: Clever, quick witted. Most are of good alignment, although there are exceptions. They reside mostly in Rosewood Forest, near the southern coast of Tyria. (There have always been racial disputes between Humans and Elves

Drow: Dark skinned cousins of the Elves. Most of them have turned to evil. They are found in the Dal Armos Valley, on the western side of Tyria.

Dwarves: Productive and battle loving. They range from good to evil, but most have a great repect for laws. They reside in the Yaisarg Mines, just south of Castleford.

Gnomes: Intelligent and inventive. They are almost always of good alignment. They make their home in Giddledale, northeast of Rosewood Forest.

Orcs: Strong and tough. Contrary to popular belief, most Orcs are very noble. They live in the Fyre Hills, near the center of Tyria.
