The first person point of view and Earth as the speak is a good choice for this poem. The rhythm is rough and distracting in some places. The rhymes sound natural, with both end rhyme and internal rhyme used to good advantage.

This is my favorite line, When you are gone, I still will be here for a few million years, because it reminds the reader of the importance of caring for the planet.
