Interesting. I like the writing style a lot - the voice doing the story-telling, and the opening was definitely catchy. I liked the ending, too. I think you caught the high school mentality fairly well. The part that is inconsistent for me is that it is supposed to be a suicide, but the description of the body hanging from a light pole with gauze and chains wrapped around it spoke "murder" to me at first impression, and had me bugged that it was suicide. How'd she do that to herself? Make me believe it's a suicide!
