The first paragraph hooked me with the water dripping. The descriptions are part of the action and move the plot forward at a good pace.

A typo in this phrase, you new that, I suggest changing new to knew.

The characters, especially Ivy and Daisy, are sympathetic. I like the way this chapter ends because it makes me wonder what Cory Topham is up to. Write on.
