Group/purpose:
This gift is just for you so you can write with might and gift delight to readers through out WDC with confidence and best ability!
Title:
Bailey's Irish CremeYum, I used to enjoy this in my coffee while I relaxed and read, or enjoyed a meal out with a friend, so for nostalgic reasons I decided to investigate further to see what this is about and in my imagination relive the relaxing part of this activity.

Just to let you know because I've witnessed what this beverage and others containing alcohol have done to people, families, and the health system, I no longer partake of alcohol. I do not miss it, I didn't do more than enjoy the flavor and have found other flavors to enjoy such as barley beverages that taste like coffee.
Description:
Image prompt contest30 days of writing is a good challenge. I enjoy reading word art created as part of a contest because of the different prompts and the different imagery these prompts often give writers creative ideas to work from and sometimes have to submit within a very short time period.
         *Bell* FIRST IMPRESSIONS *Bell*
I didn't have any idea about what I would be reading.*Sad* I was hoping that it wouldn't be a sad story about alcohol abuse or similar content. There is a non alcohol coffee creamer Bailey's Irish Creme.
         *ThumbsUp* I LIKE *ThumbsUp*
What and why:
The way you wrote this story about your beloved golden is giving honor and life to your friend. This hit me hard because years ago Bishop my service dog died at 4 years old because of lung cancer. I can relate too well to your word art which painted a good picture in brief, thankfully for me, of the emotional grief and spiritual anguish of saying until later to a beloved canine friend.

This is beautifully written and gives a very clear colorful picture of the events. I'm glad there are few details about the activities in the veterinarians office.

I like and can tell you two were very close and shared many happy years together. I still miss Bishop and tear up thinking of my loss when he moved on to the next place. I believe that as a creature created by God that God has a special place for his animals.
plot:
I don't have tears running down my face, however, my eyes are very moist. This is good because usually my eyes are dryer than they should be. If there is something good, a gift of sorts from Bailey's Irish Creme, it is that she and her story which you wrote gave me good tears.

I know if she had been able to read your word about her, she would wag her tail with great and joyful pride because of the honor and joy she gave you that shows through your words.

Now my nose is getting stuffy. I hope I can finish this review.

I'm certain that the contest has a limited word count not to mention the challenge for of writing about your friend which I believe gives this story the right amount and type of words in the precise order to make this a super wonderful and great story.

It is very difficult when a close family friend/member has to move on and goes where we can not go at that time. Eventually you should be reunited and she will be wagging her tail and joyfully waiting for you to come through the gates and be with her. I will have a huge reunion of human and animal family, friends, and relatives waiting for me to take the final steps to be with them.
I know you didn't create this plot and didn't want prolonged suffering. Also the honesty about the grief is very good because it shows people that it is ok to allow your emotions to show.
The ending where you write about not getting another dog, is this because of the ending events coming around again after having a new canine friend or feline friend or other animal? If so, please consider this: although it is beyond hard to lose a loved member of the family, it is sad to miss the dance. Missing the dance is missing all the very good times with this friend and giving them a home and good life they may not have if not for you or someone allowing them into your/my heart. I know how difficult losing my service dogs has been. We spend 24 hours a day 7 days a week together, and yet the time eventually comes when we must part and say see you later in the after world.

I have this battle when my dog must retire, or has to leave me on earth with out him or her. It is difficult to explain because I havn't found adequate words to do this job. I'm certain if there were such words, you would have used them in this writing.

Your story was well thought out, put together, and presented.
Rhythm:
I had a smooth reading experience throughout the story. My trouble was trying to read through the extra moistness in my eyes which distorted the characters.

Speaking of character, I bet Bailey's Irish Creme was quite a character.

You write well, please continue to write and share your word art.
         *Question* QUESTION(S) *Question*
How and why did she get her name, Bailey's Irish Creme?
         *InfoV* SUGGESTIONS AND COMMENTS: *InfoV*
You gave me a clue about who Bailey's Irish Creme was and I'm glad to have met her through your word art.
My thoughts and ideas which may be of interest to you:

I have no suggestions, though, I do have a request. When you are able to do this, would you consider writing a story of Bailey's Irish Creme life. I'm certain she would be very happy for people to get to know about her. Dogs live in the moment. have a desire to please, and enjoy living in a pack which is why them decided or at least a wild dog or two decided to share their lives with primitive mankind. So because dogs are social animals especially because of being domesticated, they like people. I'm sure that people would like to spend time with you, your family, and Bailey's Irish Creme. I know that her story would be wonderful and it would be a honorable legacy to her which would live on through readers year after year, and on it would go for as long as people read the story.
*Thought* CONCLUSION(S) *Thought*

Bailey's Irish Creme and Bella would have enjoyed playing together.
My thoughts and Impressions:
I know about the life and death picture you wrote about. I have lost several canine friends/family members. Several years ago I used to foster cats and dogs. I know about this hard situation to face and go through.

I understand how difficult it was for you to write this story because I've written similar stories.

I appreciate being able to read and review for you. I found this story on the SAJ board and am doing an affiliated review for this group. Please let me know if I can help you. My inbox is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Bella sends her love to you and your family.

Safe travels and many blessings.
