Title: DADDY CAME HOME…FROM WORLD WAR IIMy father faught in WWII. God is my heavenly father who I love very much. I miss my earthly father who has been with God for many years. For these reasons, I wanted to read this story. Description: WWII ended, weeks later, we saw a man walking toward us; it was my father; Thank you, GodI wanted to know about the experiences of the people who lived during WW11 while family members were away fighting in the war.  FIRST IMPRESSIONS Awesome account of your fathers homecoming.  I LIKE What and why: Your word art about your fathers arrival home is shown to me very vividly. I had no trouble seeing like watching a movie the events and actions of the characters. Your words created images which I could clearly visualize and thoroughly understand. The emotions and sentence structure worked well together. plot: There is nothing better than the true story about a father being united with his family. Showing the events, emotions, and reactions of the characters was well presented and I didn't think I was reading, I was focused on the word pictures you created with your word art. Rhythm: Reading your story was a smooth experience which with good sentence structure and carefully chosen lengths, you created a build up of suspense, then a greater build up of excitement, then the big event of everyone together embracing each other. I could feel the emotions building as I progressed from event to event and with this felt joy in my heart for your family. The rhythm was well orchestrated and I enjoyed the ride to the top of the excitement when your father was together with his family hugging everyone again.  OBSERVATION(S) This is a very well written story and a great honor to your father and the people who were involved in the war.  QUESTION(S) I watched The War Horse and found it difficult to watch the struggles of humans and animals, how about you? I can understand how the movie affected you because of your father being involved in fighting this war. This brings back memories of me being told about my father being in WWII.  SUGGESTIONS AND COMMENTS: You are good at writing and presenting stories, so I hope you will continue writing and sharing your stories with everyone. My thoughts and ideas which may be of interest to you: Red font is the very worst color of font for me to try to read. The only way I was able to read this story was to use the copy function which highlited the font in yellow with a green background which helped. Yellow font on a green background is still a problem because of the combination of the colors. Very dark fonts on light backgrounds preferably black on very light yellow are the best combination for me. Black on a white background works also. Brown on white or light yellow is a good choice. I hope this helps. People who have limited vision usually do ok with the color combinations I mentioned above.  CONCLUSION(S) God is good all the time and He will take care of the people who didn't return to their families as well as take care of their families. My thoughts and Impressions: I really enjoyed reading your word art. The sentence structure did much to help build up the excitement of your fathers arrival home to his family as well as show the excitement of the family members. You wrote a very nice tribute to your father and all the people who were involved in the war which touched my heart and gave me the remembrance of my father.
