This review is given on behalf of "Showering Acts of Joy Group"  WHY I'M REVIEWING FOR YOU  Group/purpose: This gift is just for you so you can write with might and gift delight to readers through out WDC with confidence and best ability! Title: Happiness versus Depression; you choose.I decided a long time ago that I had choices and could decide how I would respond or react to events and people and life. I prefer to be happy and full of joy. The title gave me a reason to stop and look at the description because of the choices presented and you also asked the reader to make a decision and choose between depression and happiness. Description: What would happen if we awoke to nothing but happiness? Would we grasp the meaning, then? This is a very good question which you present, so I want to read about your thoughts and response to this question.  FIRST IMPRESSIONS I'm thankful for the footnote because my sister struggles with depression and, I would have had to tell you about the chemical imbalance inside the brain which is the cause of clinical depression. Many people can not help their situation if this is the cause of their dilemma with this health issue.  I LIKE What and why: For me, the footnote made all of the difference, thank you for adding this to your word art. The way you opened the scene was interesting because of the sentence structure. I remember reading something, I think a book with this type of writing structure. When you wrote that we have choices and we could decide what we wanted either depression or happiness, my spirit was very much lifted up with joy and happiness. Many people do not consider their part in how their day starts and ends. I'm glad you pointed out the process you used to decide what kind of day you would have and that you would maintain your positive happy outlook on life. plot: The plot for me is awesome because even though I've read many different word art creations about or relating to depression, each writer has had something different to add, show, or comment on concerning this sometimes crippling disorder. I agree and can relate to the idea that we are directly involved with our thoughts and how we will react and act upon the events of our days. When you wrote about how you decided what you would think about and do for this day, I thought that using glasses as the tool for wearing depression on us all day was a good analogy. We see things yet we also can manipulate what we see in our interpretation and creation within our minds so to create our day before we get started with our activities. With thoughts paused as this new "game program" loaded, I began the day bowed in thankfulness. This is especially wonderful to me because being thankful for what God has done is very, very important. When I read this, I felt very calm and relaxed. My spirit was at peace and had joy. Rhythm: As I read your written words, I was able to take the time I needed to digest the meaning of your thoughts. I calmly took in the scenes as you showed me the different situations which you had given thought to and were considering in order to decide the kind of day you would experience. With this knowledge I was able to understand the challenge of making this important decision and could tell that you had to calmly sort out the situation. I became more relaxed and calm considering the options presented and reading about your decision. Reading this story was like relaxing with my animal friends in our favorite place knowing we had nothing to worry about because God was with us. I couldn't have been in a better frame of mind or had a nicer experience with reading the information you shared with me. I learned that I need to work more on relaxing, being calmer, and having a better out look on each situation I encounter. I started noticing the rhythm gently escorting me forward toward the next word, sentence, and paragraph.  OBSERVATION(S) Your writing and your writing voice add a special spice to how you present your word art to the reader. It is a refreshing and interesting writing technique.  QUESTION(S) What inspired you to write this story? Have you thought about writing more on this subject, Or, perhaps writing an update?  SUGGESTIONS AND COMMENTS: Your story about decisions, depression, and happiness will help many people realize that they can have a much better life. Keep these stories coming!  My thoughts and ideas which may be of interest to you: ... piled high sink in the kitchen... ...sink in the kitchen, piled high with filthy dishes and pots and pans and... or ...sink in the kitchen; piled high with filthy dishes, pots and pans, and... After a hot shower,... After enjoying a hot shower, or After enjoying a rejuvenating hot shower,...  CONCLUSION(S) Please keep the encouraging stories coming so we can read them and enjoy life.
