Hello Tessa
this is a cool projection of Mary Magdalene. Her confessions show how much of a change was brought in her by Jesus of Nazareth. Even a hard core sinner like her could not escape from the magnetic effect of a divine mind. Her way of love too has changed from being carnal to pure.
You showed quite transparently as to how this change took place. This is well achieved due to the first person point of view, which allows the reader a candid glance at her inner self. Her thoughts, her past and present, her impressions of this strange prophet of Nazareth are brought before the reader.
You have included all the facts written about her in the Bible, in the most befitting manner. The informal style, the rivalry she felt with another woman devotee and her decision to be with Jesus at all times explain why Mary Magdalene became the second most important woman in the New Testament.
Thank you for sharing this nice story.
