I felt a feeling of sadness and inevitability as I read this poem, because it made me think of the truth in the last lines- one cannot change what others have spoken or gossipped into fact. Truth is lost in the telling sometimes if history does not record all the facts. This poem is rich in imagery and imagination, yet as I read, I kept feeling the word Barron, was meant to be Barren. [ forgive me if I misunderstood] A poem well worth reading for it's imagination and depth of meaning. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **
