Hello Mitchopolis : *Smile*

I have the honor of reviewing your writing for "Simply Positive Review Forum .

Please remember I am a writer, who, like yourself, is also reviewed by her peers; therefore, I know what it feels like! I have only my humble opinion to offer; please take what you feel is helpful and disregard the rest. Only YOU know what is right for your writing!

*StarG* TITLE *StarG*

The title for your poem is absolutely perfect! *ThumbsUp*

*StarP*
SPELLING, GRAMMAR, & PUNCTUATION *StarP*

Regarding spelling, grammar, and punctuation, I could find no errors. Great job! *ThumbsUp*

*StarO* CHOICE OF WORDS/READABILITY *StarO*

Choice of words is excellent, which makes for good readability. When I read the poem out loud, which is the way that I like to read poetry because then I can hear it better, I did not stumble or falter. The poem had a lovely lilting quality to it and the flow of the poem was great throughout the entire poem! Sometimes when I read poetry it is confusing and I can't even understand it. But your poem was perfectly clear and it told a story, which I really enjoyed. Great job with this! *ThumbsUp*

*StarV* FAVORITE PARTS *StarV*

I enjoyed the entire poem from beginning to end, but let me tell you about a few of my favorite parts:

*stargray* Love is fever, my dear,
effusing warmth so near.
You resist. I persist.
You speak up. I say hush
- I CHOSE THESE LINES FROM THE BEGINNING OF YOUR POEM BECAUSE THEY SET THE TONE OF THE ENTIRE POEM, AND THEY DO IT QUITE WELL, I MIGHT SAY. THIS IS WHERE I BEGAN TO GRIN AND KNEW THAT I WAS IN FOR QUITE A TREAT. I WAS RIGHT! GREAT JOB! *ThumbsUp*

*stargray* You-
COUGH - COUGH Should I back-off?
You-
SNEEZE - SNEEZE Are you diseased?
- I CHOSE THESE LINES BECAUSE THEY MADE ME LAUGH, AND EVEN THE WAY THAT YOU OFFSET THEM WAS VERY COMICAL AND VERY EFFECTIVE. GREAT JOB! *ThumbsUp*

*stargray* And though you’re infected,
my love’s unaffected.
Rest - I’ll hire an au-pair
- I CHOSE THESE CLOSING LINES TO YOUR POEM BECAUSE THEY ARE THE PERFECT ENDING TO YOUR POEM. INDEED WE LOVE THE ONES WE LOVE THROUGH THICK AND THIN, THROUGH HEALTH AND SICKNESS. I COULDN'T HAVE SAID IT BETTER! *ThumbsUp*

*StarY* OVERALL RATING/FINAL THOUGHTS *StarY*

I give this poem and overall rating of *Star**Star**Star**Star**Star* for its creativity, originality, and the ability to make me grin and say, "Aw...." You have managed to infuse humor and love all into the same poem and you have done it with style and grace. Exactly how did you manage to do that? However you did it, I am amazed. I absolutely love this poem. It made me smile, it made me grin, it made me chuckle, and it gave me that warm, fuzzy feeling all at the same time. Caring for a loved one through something like the flu can be a tricky thing. You want to comfort them and take care of them, but yet you don't want to catch it yourself, either, right? Yes, everyone can identify with this poem. You've truly done a great job with this one, my friend, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I recommend this poem as a great read for anyone! Thanks for sharing. You keep writing and I'll keep reading! *Smile*

Please continue to share with our community.

Thank you for allowing me to review your work. I consider it an honor and a privilege!

Have a *Rainbowl* lovely *Rainbowr* day! *Smile*
