Review six for Simply Review.

Hi Allie,
My name is Lyn. I am doing a review for Simply Positive. Please remember I am a writer, I know what it feels like to be reviewed! I have only my humble opinion to offer; please take what you feel is helpful and disregard the rest. Only YOU know what is right for your writing!

Title: The Hidden Box

First Impression: I found myself wondering why the father was so mean spirited and made both the little girl and his wife afraid of him. What was going on? So you did arouse my curiosity.

What I liked: That even though Phyl was young she had some power over the cruel man she knew as her father.

What needs your attention: nothing

Favorite Parts: The box holds everything she needs to be free but she doesn't know it yet. Even she knew the violet eyes were a piece of the puzzle but wasn't able to read yet she did allow herself to ponder before falling asleep. I am curious what she will do next. I would take the box and leave when I had the chance.

Overall Impression: It has a nice hook that draws you in, the characters each have potential to go in different directions in the story as it is. I think it has the potential to evolve very nicely.
