~What he did he do to the person in the truck? Is he operating on people?

~After passing out, I could then put sugar in his mouth between his lips and gums.( I would add "to help restore his sugar levels and bring him back to his right mind" something to show that the sugar stabilized him. Some who don't know about sugar levels and glucose will not make the connection and wonder why you are giving him sugar. Maybe I am wrong though, because it is mentioned the paragraph before, but I feel it needs hit home so repeating it could benefit. I would get a second opinion though.

The next series of sentences belong closer to the first of the story, in year one, not a whole year later. After a year, of being captive and only seeing him and his sisters, this doesn't fit or make any sense.
~“Who knows you're here?” he demanded instead of answering me.

"Just my mother and step-father know I’m here. Why?”

“No one else knows?”

“No. I've always kept to myself. I guess you don't like how I'm working.” Oooh that was a mistake! Now he knows if he kills me and my parents no one will know we were out here.

~Later he used the recycled...missing the bold word...

~"I You could?" He seemed to be in a fog and in a more approachable state

~I think Tom would want to see the birthmark that her dad thought was evil...

~"This is different. Tom has graves in his yard." There wasn't any convincing her that he wasn't what he seemed.
(pull these two sentences together)
"What makes you think I want to be with another man?"

~This chapter shows good use of time passage. We are able to see how you are adjusting into a routine so that you can better wait for your chance to leave. This is survivor mode and not to be associated with that syndrome where the captor falls in love with the abductor. That isn't going on here and you make that clear, which is great. This chapter moved along smoothly. There were only a few technical issues, but I feel this is one of the stronger chapters. Great Job!
