Greetings, and welcome to Writing.Com I am one of the Earth Day Review Challengers and offer here my comments to your poem. The poem is beautiful; told from the viewpoint of Earth, all that She is and give us. Reading aloud, I'm sensing elements/seasons of Earth which engage the senses (sight, smell, touch, sound). Each stanza brings to mind an element in a numbr of its manifestations: the first stanza I sense Air; the second I sense the element of Fire; the third, the element of Water and the fourth, the element of Earth. Each of these elements/stanzas offer several powerful, vivid images/statements. Reading aloud, I see but a couple of spots where I was stopped to re-read an image - third stanza, second line, "I am the deep of the sea you wander" I think; you have "...wonder" ?? and fourth stanza second line "I am the sacred land..." you have "...scared land" ?? Once again, Welcome to WDC and thank you for sharing the powerful, beautiful poem of Earth's beauty and magesty. I look forward to reading more of your work soon Write On Kate Kate - Writing & Reading My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
