I found your item on today's, WDC Poetry Newsletter, edited by fyn.

What can I say? I'm a real sucker for good, intense and visually pleasing, free verse poetry. I love the depth and reach of this poetry as it hits the chords of a melody and lulls the reader along the mind-bending, floating clouds of senses. *Clouds*

*Glass4* Your poem has the passion, the hypnotic rhythm and the snap of words whipped onto the lines that sting the emotions awake, alive and regenerating.

*Writing* My favorite lines:


"The river, an obsidian sheen,
offers a distorted face with vacant eyes.
"How clever," I think, ... "

*Blockb* Indeed, how clever! I love that obsidian sheen associated with the river. You're killing me here. *Laugh*


Love it, can't think to offer anything in the way of changes needed, nor did I think it would be necessary when even the image preceding the poem captured and enraptured me to read on.

Okay, I'm done here. You can get your head out of the clouds now. *Laugh*
