It is a powerful poem using the prompt words quite aptly.
The whole picture of a punctured marriage is replayed in this thoughtfully constructed free verse. Pictures of aspects such as soul, fragility of the bond, paying for mistakes, trust and faith of a marital relationship, the firm foundations shattering, are brought before my mind's eye. It is all about how precious certain bonds are and how easy it is to break them.

Imagery is both seen and self explanatory. The shock of receiving the divorce papers is absorbed by the act of tearing it and watch those cold officialese being ripped. The replay of the past by remembrances and longing for restoration of the marriage could be read in between the lines.

It flows well.
