*Quill* This was a very insightful article about the damage cause by that terrible disease. To lose the chance of bearing a child when one is young, and desires to have a family, is so tragic.

*Umbrellag* You did a wonderful job of stating all of the facts, and gave the readers useful information. They are alerted as to the many questions that should be asked and answered when going for treatment.



Observations


Oh she’s older and some would say wiser, and she lived a life without benefit of a child. Well she’s had many cats which she treats like kids but that’s it. I do have my nephews though and I love them as my own.
You change the point of view in this paragraph. It is done in a couple other places, if you read it out loud, I think you'll catch them, easily.


Know that afterward you won't be unable to have a child. [you won't be able to have a child OR you will be unable to have a child.]

*Flagw* Thank you for sharing this heartbreaking story with us. It had to be devastating to go through those surgeries, and find out what damage was done and the ultimate hurt, the inability to have a child. Moreover, you were up front with what happens to a woman's body following a hysterectomy. Hormone replacement therapy while still in your twenties can have terrible psychological impact; the mood changes, hair thinning, and all of those things woman face much later in life, should not be burdening one so young and vital.

Kudos to you for all of your strength and great stamina and being able to share this story with us. *Ribbonv*
