I saw your poem highlighted in the Poetry Newsletter. *Smile*


"Such lovely scenes outside our window-sill,"

*Medalgold* I couldn't think of a better beginning to this review, for this one line sings in my mind like a sweet melody, reminiscent of the holiday season. Such beautiful sibilant repetition of sounds in this line captured my spirit, made me want more jewels of the season opened before my eyes.

I was not disappointed because the entire poem pulled together in a magical way. Each line feeding of the previous one, completing the scenes that were being painted in my mind's eye. *Teap*

"While lucky First-Foot makes his walkabout."

*Flagg* This line touched my heart, for I first heard about "First-Foot" from these Scottish friends of ours. They spent a couple winters in Florida where we winter. Sadly, they sold there home in Florida because they dreaded the travel back to Scotland within the required residential time allotted outside their European homeland.They wanted to stay year round but couldn't. *Frown* They settled in Portugal.

*Buttonforward* However, I digress, the story about "First Foot" was a lovely one to hear from these people, so you brought me some personal good memories. That made me enjoy your beautiful poem all that much more.

Well sculpted use of words molded together to create a masterpiece! *Ornament2s*
