Review of Actus Reus

First and foremost, thank you for sharing your work . I am not an expert reviewer. I am just another writer, but I know it is the reviews that help us to perfect our craft. My opinions are just that; my opinions.

OVERALL IMPRESSIONS:

I love how you take characters and place them in a common situation and in just a few lines they are sizzling off the page. The fact that you let us into her thoughts by placing them in italics was a positive plus to the story.

PLOT & CHARACTERS:

Naomi the woman with the flat tire is not described but you allow your audience to gauge her by her flirtatious actions. She is the instigator in the sexual action that follows. Sam, a hunk according to Naomi and also the sheriff is a man that Naomi has lusted over. He seems interested and the standard police search scenario follows and leads to an increased sexual snapshot and fulfillment of the story.

SUGGESTIONS/EDITS:

If you make these stories any better then I will have trouble sleeping at night, This is my way of saying it was flawless.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I am glad you are back and entering these contests. Keep writing.
