This nostalgic piece brings quite a few interesting things to the reader. Poet's association with her grandfather is obviously of a special kind. They seem to share a common interest in Shakespeare and deep love for this words of immortal value.
"As the clever words
Of William Shakespeare fill my mind,
My Heart,
My Soul."

Presumably, the volume containing of all the plays of Shakespeare appears to be the elderly person's favorite book. The fact that he chose this particular granddaughter to be presented with that book, makes her a worthy receiver.

Imagery brings to mind the well used and well preserved quality of the volume.
"It still smells of my Grandfather's cologne,
Which smelled like the forest in spring.."

This free verse composition is a spontaneous outcome of a fond memory of the gentlemen with whom the poet had a special bond, and carries the fragrance of years they shared.

Thank you for sharing a beautiful poem.
