Puddy tat [E] A poem about good intentions |
Review number # 2 of week September 11-17, 2014 Hi Something Strange My name is Lyn and I am doing a review for Simply Positive. Please remember I am a writer, I know what it feels like to be reviewed! Please take what you feel is helpful and disregard the rest. Only YOU know what is right for your writing! Title: Puddy Tat First Impression: Yay, a story about a cat. I am a big cat fan. What I liked: I enjoyed the garden of my mind phrase, perfect way to create personal imagery. Yes, cats do like recognition for whatever they do. I also thought the boundary fences of mind showed the cat knew there were limits. What needs your attention: I am a fan of centering poems so it reflects the authors confidence in his work with the title above the poem in italics. In your particular case it would be like the cat springing out to the reader, will someone acknowledge my good deeds. Favorite Parts: Tell me what to lay before your feel and I will climb the boundary fences of my mind. The cat showing the owner that he/she understood boundaries but what would it take to get your attention, your affection. The cat clearly is reaching out. Overall Impression: I thought it was very entertaining. I felt for the cat, trying hard to please its owner and not knowing what exactly was the thing to do. Thank you for letting me read your work. It was my pleasure! Lyn My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
